Women safety has always been the gravest concern for the continent, and now a glam of light can be seen with this major invention. Software Engineering, Arreytambe Tabot from Cameroon, has invented this safety wristband for women, and the invention has been featured on science forum South Africa.
According to Tabot, the wristband is invented to ensure safety for the rural women in Africa. Those, who are illiterate, will get the major benefits of it. On the science forum Africa, he also said that the estimated price of this device will be $1.50. It uses radio frequency identification technology.
