Africa is considered as the continent, where dawn of human civilization was noted. However, in modern era, the continent is considered to be down ridden with various problems. Lack of healthcare, security and foods are the major problems of this continent. To fight such evils, it needs technological production in Africa. Implementation of science and latest technologies can help the continent to overcome its problems.
To give people a better living standard, various groups of scientists as well as individuals are working voluntarily for technological production in Africa. With collective efforts, it is hoped that the continent will gain back its lost glories. Large section of people of this continent is dependant over the natural resources. Along with natural resources, it also needs modernization – computers, mobile networks, satellite and many more.
Angelina Lutambi, born in Tanzania’s Dodoma region, has visions for the future technology in Africa. She came from a region of Africa, where AIDS is a major threat for the human population. Since her childhood, she had exceptional interests in mathematics. However, since childhood, it was a saga of struggles for her. She financed her schooling by selling cold drinks, and later her talent was recognized by the University of Dar Es Salaam.
In the year of 2004, she joined African Institute for Mathematical Sciences (Aims). She completed her PHD, and now she is a senior research fellow at the Ifakara Health Institute, located in Tanzania. Since her childhood, she always had the urge to do something for her countrymen. She understood the need for technology Africa. Presently she is working with vision to enhance living standard of human beings through technology in Africa.

Hope for the Continent
While discussing essence of science for Africa, she also pointed out hopes for the continents. There are still a lot of hopes for the African nations. She said that technological production in Africa is the most important thing. The continent needs to promote that to sustain with its human population ad civilization. She said that if next Einstein has to born, then he must be from Africa.
She stressed on implementation of scientific studies right from school level. She wants her countrymen to study science in primary school level. With small efforts, large aims can be touched – things would not happen overnight – but, positive intent should be there.
