Winning the battles of life require spiritual strategy, methods and wisdom of God. Many Christians do not believe that even living a life to please God is a battle. In other words, in every battle there are strategies for wining in other not to suffer defeat. In, 1 Sam 30:8, David inquired of the Lord, in other to know what particular strategy he needed to carry out the operation that will help him to overtake, takeover and recover that which was stolen by the Amalekites. The key to recovering all that the enemy has stolen from you is to inquire of the Lord. God intends that you will win in all the battles of life, but the strategies for warfare can only be gotten if you inquire of The Lord. What is a strategy? It is a plan of action designed to achieve a long-term or overall aim or the art of planning and directing overall military operations and movements in a war or battle. What is divine strategy? Divine strategy is that strategy that cannot be understood nor comprehended by the human mind. What is operation? It is a series of functions and tasks that are involved in a single process. What does it mean to Overtake? It is to go past something by been ahead or to catch up with and pass by.

Human strategy is powered by natural senses and arm of the flesh. The differences are that;

c). Human strategy may (probability) win a battle but cannot win the war (Psalm 20:6-8) while Divine Strategy wins both the battle and the war (Prov 21:31)
d). Human strategy reacts according to the situation as it presents itself (Num 20:8-11), while Divine Strategy does not react nor take steps according the situation as it presents itself. (2 kings 3:17-19)
